Kindred Group Launches Online Casino for Swedish and Norwegian High Rollers

Online gambling operator Kindred Group (recently re-branded from Unibet Group) announced the launch of its newest online casino. The Storspiller brand is live now and is intended for high roller players from Sweden and Norway.

The gambling operator noted that it has a small group of customers who play for £200 or over every month and that they have decided not to neglect the needs of that particular group but to channel offering that will cater to high rollers' demands.

Peter Alling, Kindred Group Head of Nordic Public Affairs, commented that their newly created high roller concept is a result from their knowledge of players. Gambling habits vary from one customer to the other, Mr. Alling added, and Kindred Group has decided to focus on the behavior of each individual player rather than on collective behavior.

The Nordics and Sweden, in particular, are really important markets for the gambling group. It has recently become known that the operator spent the amount of SEK270 million ($30 million) on different television advertising campaigns for the Swedish market during the eleven months ended May 30, 2025.

Previous results posted, showed that the company had topped the gambling TV advertising spending chart for the country for the first half of 2025. It seems that the group's enhanced advertising activity had not been in vain as its brands are currently attracting more local players than the online gambling offering provided by other international operators to be present in Sweden.

As mentioned above, Kindred Group has recently completed its re-branding effort. The Malta-headquartered gambling operator chose that particular name as it best reflected their multi-brand strategy. The company had previously been named Unibet, just as its most popular brand. The new name is believed to help the gambling group "improve synergy, clarity, and flexibility."

Kindred Group reported an all-time record high in gross winnings revenue of £142.3 million for the third quarter of 2025 and of £391.3 million for the first three quarters of the same year. The company highlighted the strong performance of all its brands and successful acquisitions as the main contributors to a 65% increase in gross winnings revenue for the three months ended May 30, 2025.
